The Popsicles Consignor Program is designed to make your consignment sale item tagging easy and accurate. You build your list, print out the item tags on Avery business card stock (2" x 3", 10 per sheet), and attach tags to all your items. Using printed tags has the following advantages:

  • The item is clearly marked for the buyer with a description and price
  • The barcode contains all the information about the item. By scanning the barcode at check-out, we can quickly generate a sales receipt for the buyer and speed them through the process.
  • Because we log the barcodes, we always have "up to date" information about which of your articles have been sold. Generating your payment is fast and easy, with no manual calculations.

Using the Popsicles Consignor Program is quick and easy! You enter each item you want to sell with the price. You select descriptions from each of 4 categories - Item, Size, Color and Description. You also select whether you want to donate the item at the end of the sale, and whether it will be priced ½ off at the end.

When you've finished building your list, you just print off the tags, attach them to your articles, and you're done. Your items look professional, and the price is clear and easy to read!

Popsicles Consignor Program - Operating Instructions

1)      Launch the program by double-clicking the desktop icon, or by clicking "Start", "Programs", "Popsicles Consignment".

2)      When the program starts, you are presented with a series of input boxes. The cursor will be flashing on the Consignor Number input box.

3)      How to move around the input boxes:

To move between input boxes, make your entry and hit the <TAB> key. Continue your entry / TAB sequence until the "ADD TO LIST" button is highlighted, then press the "ENTER" key to save your entry to the list. You can also use your mouse to select the dropdown entries or to print or exit.

4)      The description of the inputs, and entries required are as follows:

A.       Consignor Number - The consignor number is the number assigned to you by Popsicles Kids Sales when you signed up as a consignor. It consists of 6-digits, the first 2 are letters, and the last 4 are numbers.

B.      Price - This is the price of the article you are entering. It can be any whole number (no cents) between 3 and 400.

C.       Item, Size, Color and Description Drop-Downs - These allow you to select a multi-categoried description for your article. These can be selected. Note that each drop-down must be filled in for each article. If the description for that category doesn't fit your item, just select the "N/A" item (the first one on the list).

5)      Build your list article list using steps 3 to 4 above.

6)      If you need to delete and entry, just go to the list and double-click on it with your mouse.

7)      If you need to leave the list and continue building it later, just click on the "EXIT" button. The program will save your entries. When you start the program again, the program will bring up what you've entered so far.

8)      When your list is complete, press the "PRINT" button. Select the printer you will use and press the "PRINT" button.

9)      Make sure your item tags are printed.. The program asks you if the tags printed correctly. If you answer "Yes" the list will be deleted. If you answer "NO" the list will be saved so you can print again.

10)   The tags look as follows:

Attach each tag to the appropriate article.

11)   Press the "Exit" button to stop the program.
