Description-

These are Adobe Acrobat files that shows one of our many barcode fonts. You can use this file to test your combinations of scanners and printers to verify that our products will work for you. To ensure that these barcodes have the best possibility to scan, these samples were optimized for printing, not viewing.   If you would like a more "hands on" demo, take a look at our automatic or manual installations that allow you to use the fonts on your own system.

 

Difficulty Level

Beginner - Our barcode fonts are easy to use. You need limited understandanding of your computer and its operating system! We make it simple to start printing code 39 barcodes today.

Note that a "SPACE" is represented by a "~"

 

Microsoft Word users must take extra steps to disable a feature which disables the ability to create code 3 of 9 barcodes.   Be sure to look at the instructions for disabling this default feature to automatically bold-face options in Word.  Follow this link for instructions.  (Barcodes and Microsoft Word) To determine it this applies to you, if you type in *123*, the default behavior of Word is to remove the *'s and boldface the 123.  You can see this with our product if the characters under the bars disappear after completing the code.

Styles Test

This file has one of our Code 3 of 9 fonts with all four styles displayed.  This file is optimized for scanning, so the display will not look nearly as good as the printout.  Please print this file to see just how crisp a barcode by font can be.

Point Test

This file has one of our Code 3 of 9 fonts with several different point sizes on one sheet.  This file can be used to determine the point size required for the most consistently successful scans using your printer, paper, and scanner.  When this file is displayed on your screen, some of the barcodes may look like a single black rectangle.  Once you print this file, you will see just how crisp a barcode by font can be.

We offer both demo fonts and full version (upon purchase) fonts for both  Standard Code 39 (with Full-Ascii character set) and Extended Code 39 which encodes most of the Full-Ascii characters just by pressing the key on the keyboard. Here are the links:
