With a rugged housing and an integrated barcode scanner, the Intermec CN50 is the most compact and feature rich mobile computer available. The innovation in its design is apparent in its dual ARM processor architecture which speeds up processor intense applications and lowers overall power usage. A built in accelerometer lets you design applcations that rotate the 3.5" QVGA screen display based on the orientation of the device. Adding the integrated digital compass and GPS radio, you can now track position, current relative direction,  movement and vibration. A 3.1 mega-pixel camera with auto-focus gives you the ability to take pictures and videos. Storage for programs, data and media files is more than ample - the Intermec CN50 has 512 mb Flash and 128 mb RAM and mini-SDHC storage.

Another revolutionary feature of the Intermec CN50 is Intermec Enhanced Mobile Document Imaging (eMDI). With EMDI, you now have a robust, flexible and high resolution way to convert paper documents to digital format. The imaging application compensates for imager tilt and roll, producing a final image without distortions produced when imaging a document at an angle and at varying range. While other companies have touted this capability, the Intermec CN50 with eMDI has perfected it, you'll no longer have to worry if the document images your workers capture will be legible.

In addition to the WAN radio, which delivers the fasted voice and data rates available from CDMA/UTMS networks, the Intermec CN50 comes standard with BlueTooth 2.1 radio, and 802.00 b/g. Available with a QWERTY or Numeric keyboard, the CN50 comes standard with a 2-dimensional imager with a megapixle resolution for reading all barcode symbologies. Although its 11 oz weight and compact size packs in the features, the Intermec CN50 is tough! Rated for multiple 5 foot drops to concrete on all sides, as well as IP54 certification for dust and moisture resistance, you can be confident that the CN50 will survive the most challenging of environments and abuse.
